Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures of RRN Creative, LLC, (dba The Radio Fam) and its affiliates and subsidiaries (“we”, “our” or “us”) on information that is collected from you when you visit TheRadioFam.com (the “Site”) and access the services, features, content or applications we offer (collectively with the Site, the “Services”) and how we may use and disclose that information. We may receive information about you from various sources, including: (i) information you submit to us; (ii) your use of the Services generally; and (iii) from third party websites and services. When you use the Services, you are consenting to the collection, transfer, manipulation, storage, disclosure and other uses of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy also explains the privacy choices you have when using the Services, including with respect to cookies, marketing emails, targeted advertising, location data and the sharing of your information. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact our privacy team.

1. Privacy Policy coverage: This Privacy Policy covers the treatment of personal information and other information described in this policy, gathered when you are using or accessing the Services. This Privacy Policy also covers our treatment of any information that our business partners share with us or that we share with our business partners.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that we do not own or control, including but not limited to any third party websites, services and applications (“Third Party Services”), such as Facebook or Twitter, that you elect to access through the Service or to individuals that we do not manage or employ. We cannot take responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of Third Party Services. We encourage you to carefully review the privacy policies of any Third Party Services you access.

2. Information collection: The information we gather enables us to personalize, improve and continue to operate the Services. In connection with certain aspects of the Services, we may request, collect, use, share, and/or display some of your information, including your personal information. We may collect the following types of information from our users.

(a) Contact information: When you contact us through the Site, you may be asked to provide information, such as your name and email address. You acknowledge that this information may be personal to you, and by contacting us and providing personal information to us, you allow others, including us, to identify you. If you access the Services using a third party’s credentials, we may automatically collect certain information, such as your name, picture, and email address. We may use your contact information to respond to information requests from you and to send you information about our Services when we feel such information is important.

(b) IP address information and other information collected automatically: We may automatically receive and record information from your device or web browser when you interact with the Services, including your IP address, type of device, unique device ID, wireless mobile subscriber ISDN numbers, operating system and cookie information. This information may be used for fighting spam/malware and also to facilitate collection of data concerning your interaction with the Services (e.g., what links you have clicked on).
Generally, the Services may automatically collect usage information, such as the number and frequency of visitors to the site. We may use this data in aggregate form, that is, as a statistical measure. This type of aggregate data may enable us and third parties authorized by us to figure out how often individuals use parts of the Services so that we can analyze and improve the Services.

(c) Location data: Some of our Services may collect geo-location data to provide location-related functionality. We may link location data to other information we have collected about you. You may stop sharing your location data by adjusting your mobile and/or browser location services settings. For instruction on changing the relevant settings, please contact your service provider or device manufacturer.

(d) Email communications: We may receive a confirmation when you open an email from us. We may use this confirmation to improve our Services, including customer service.

(e) Information collected using cookies: Cookies are pieces of text that may be provided to your computer through your web browser when you access a website. Your browser may store cookies in a manner associated with each website you visit. We may use cookies to enable our servers to recognize your web browser and tell us how and when you visit the Site and otherwise use the Services through the Internet.

Most browsers have an option for turning off the cookie feature, which will prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, as well as (depending on the sophistication of your browser software) allowing you to decide on acceptance of each new cookie in a variety of ways. We strongly recommend that you leave cookies active, because they may enable you to take advantage of additional features of the Services.

(f) Information related to advertising and the use of web beacons: To support and enhance the Services, we may serve advertisements, and also allow third party advertisements, through the Services. These advertisements are sometimes targeted and served to particular users and may come from third party companies called “ad networks.” Ad networks include third party ad servers, ad agencies, ad technology vendors and research firms. We may engage with ad networks that are members of organizations or programs that manage the advertising privacy choices these ad networks offer consumers.
When you visit our Site or use our Services, ad networks and other parties may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these ad networks and other parties.

Advertisements served through the Services may be targeted to users who fit a certain general profile category that may be inferred from information provided to us by a user, may be based on the Service’s usage patterns of particular users, or may be based on your activity on Third Party Services. We do not provide personal information to any ad networks for use other than in connection with the Services.

To increase the effectiveness of ad delivery, we may deliver a file (known as a “web beacon”) from an ad network to you through the Services. Web beacons allow ad networks to provide anonymized, aggregated auditing, research and reporting for us and for advertisers. Web beacons also enable ad networks to serve targeted advertisements to you when you visit other websites. Because your web browser must request these advertisements and web beacons from the ad network’s servers, these companies can view, edit or set their own cookies, just as if you had requested a web page from their site.
3. Information sharing: The Services are designed to allow you to consume information. Some of the information generated through the Services may be shared publicly or with third parties.

(a) IP address information: While we may collect and store IP address information, that information is not made public. We may at times, however, share this information with our partners, service providers and other entities with which we conduct business, and as otherwise specified in this Privacy Policy.

(b) Information you elect to share: You may access other Third Party Services through the Services by, for example, clicking on links to those Third Party Services from within the Site. We are not responsible for the privacy policies and practices of these Third Party Services, and you are responsible for reading and understanding those Third Party Services’ privacy policies. This Privacy Policy only governs information we may collect in connection with the Services.

(c) Aggregate information: We may share aggregate information with our partners, service providers and other persons with whom we conduct business. We may share this type of statistical data so that our partners can understand how and how often people use our Services and their services or websites, which facilitates improving both their services and how our Services interface with them. In addition, these third parties may share with us information about you that they have independently developed or acquired.

(d) Email communications with us: As part of the Services, you may occasionally receive email and other communications from us if you have initiated contact with us. We may use your email address to contact you for editorial purposes, to advise you of any changes to our Site, and to send you messages about our marketing partners’ products.

(e) Mobile communications: With your consent, we may use your mobile number to send you promotions, notifications, or other services.

(f) Information shared with our service providers: We may employ and contract with service providers, who are individuals and entities that perform certain tasks on our behalf. We may need to share information, including personal information, with our service providers in order to provide products or services to you. We do not authorize our service providers to use personal information or other information we share with them beyond what is necessary to assist us.

(g) Information disclosed pursuant to business transfers: In some cases, we may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, user information, including personal information, is typically one of the transferred business assets. Moreover, if we, or substantially all of our assets, were acquired, or if we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur. Following the transfer of user information in the circumstances described in this paragraph, all inquiries concerning the processing of user information should be directed to the entity to which the information is transferred.

(h) Information disclosed for our protection and the protection of others: We reserve the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information that we reasonably believe is necessary to (i) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, (ii) enforce our Terms and Conditions (available here: https://theradiofam.com/terms/), including investigation of potential violations hereof, (iii) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, (iv) respond to user support requests, or (v) protect our rights, property or safety, our users and the public. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and spam/malware prevention.

4. Information security: We seek to protect all collected information to ensure that it is kept private; however, we cannot guarantee the security of such information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of user information at any time. We otherwise store all of our information, including your IP address information, using techniques reasonably designed to secure the information. We do not guarantee or warrant that such techniques will prevent unauthorized access to information about you that we store, personal information or otherwise.

5. Children under 13
The Services and our products are intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected any personal information from a child under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information from our database and terminate any corresponding account. If you believe that we may have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at info@theradiofam.com.

6. Visitors from outside the United States
The Site’s offices are located in the United States. If you visit the site from another country, please be aware that information you provide to us or that we obtain as a result of your use of the Site may be processed in and transferred to the United States and will be subject to U.S. law. U.S. privacy and data protection laws may not be equivalent to the laws in your country of residence. By using the Site or providing us with your information, you consent to the collection, transfer, storage, and processing of information to and in the United States.

7. Changes to the Privacy Policy: We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version of the Privacy Policy will govern our use of your information. If we make a change to the Privacy Policy that, in our sole discretion, is material, we will notify you by posting an announcement on the Services or sending an email to the email address associated with your account. By continuing to access or use the Services after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
